Each and Every year World Peace Day celebrates on 21st September 

Like every year this year also celebrate International Peace day

The International Day of Peace was established in 1981 by the United Nations General Assembly.

In 2001, the General Assembly unanimously voted to designate the Day as a period of non-violence and cease-fire.  

Theme : International Peace Day

The 2022 theme for the International Day of Peace is “End racism. Build peace.”

Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The UN General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace.

Racism continues to poison institutions, social structures, and everyday life in every society

Significance of World peace Day

The International Day of Peace will be observed on 16 September 2022 at United Nations Headquarters

History Of Peace Day 

International days and weeks are occasions to educate the public on issues of concern, to mobilize political will and resources to address global problems.

The programme will begin with the traditional Peace Bell Ceremony in the Peace Garden at 9:00 a.m. EDT. 

At that event, the Secretary-General and President of the General Assembly will ring the Peace Bell.
